What's the difference between notes and feedback?

Last updated: May 25, 2026

Notes are private to you. Feedback is shared between participants.

Notes and Feedback are two different tabs on the Meeting Review page, with different purposes and visibility.

Notes

  • Purpose: capture what was discussed, what you agreed, or anything you want to remember about the meeting — without anyone else seeing.

  • Who can see: only you, regardless of the meeting mode.

  • Each participant (host, guest, observers) has their own separate notes.

  • Notes are editable.

Feedback

  • Purpose: let mentors, supervisors, observers, or peers give detailed input on your meetings.

  • Who can see and contribute: depends on the meeting mode.

    • Review mode — host and observers

    • Train mode — host, observers, and guest

  • All people with access can give feedback.

  • Feedback is editable.
