How does meeting processing work?
Last updated: May 25, 2026
After a meeting ends and the recording is saved for analysis, Ovid (Ovida's AI) processes it. A one-hour meeting typically takes about 30 minutes to process.
When you confirm at the end of a meeting that you want it analysed, Ovida begins processing the recording through Ovid, our machine learning engine.
How long it takes
Processing usually takes about half the meeting length. A one-hour meeting takes around 30 minutes.
How you'll know it's ready
You'll get an email and an in-app notification when the meeting is ready to view.
The status on the Meetings page changes to View. Click that button to land on the Meeting Review page.

If processing is taking longer than usual
Meetings can sometimes process for longer than expected. This is usually caused by a weak internet connection during the recording, which we then work to recover. We treat every meeting as important and try to salvage as much as possible, which is why some take extra time.
