What's new in Ovida (29 May 2026)
Last updated: May 29, 2026
Four updates this month aimed at making Ovida cleaner, faster, and easier to work with across teams, live recording, Safari support, and skill tracking.
A cleaner My Teams view
If you belong to a professional team, your free personal team is now hidden automatically from My Teams. Nothing is deleted, your data is preserved and the team reappears if your professional team membership ends. Less clutter, same control.
For details, see "Why don't I see my personal team anymore?"
Smoother live recording
Trying to start a Live Recording while another one is already running used to cause microphone conflicts and duplicate sessions. Now you'll see an "Existing Meeting In Progress" prompt with a clear choice: rejoin the active session, or close it and start fresh.
For details, see "What does 'Existing meeting in progress' mean when I start a Live Recording?"
Better Safari compatibility
If you use Safari on an Apple device with Lockdown Mode turned on, Ovida now detects the issue early and shows a clear message in the meeting lobby. No more crashes or silent failures, you'll know exactly why your camera and microphone aren't working, and how to fix it.
For details, see "Why can't I join a meeting on Safari?"
More insight from your skill scores
The sparkline on your Skill card now does more than show a trend. Hover over any data point and you'll see the score, the date, and the other participant, making it easy to trace any score back to the exact session it came from.
For details, see "How do I read my skill score sparkline?"
